Wellcome Collection Commission
This series of illustrations was commissioned by the wonderful Wellcome Collection, a free museum and library in London that explores health and human experience.
Maria was asked to to illustrate a 6 part serial for the Stories section on their website using images from their archives. It was an absolute dream project for her!
This story is beautifully written by the amazing Gail Tolley on the subject of homesickness.
